RRB Para-Medical Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfil the prescribed educational qualification and age limit for the post they wish to apply for.
Educational Qualification
1. Nursing Superintendent
Candidates must have either:
- Certificate as a Registered Nurse and Midwife after completing a 3-year General Nursing and Midwifery course from a school of Nursing or institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council; OR
- B.Sc. Nursing.
2. Pharmacist (Entry Grade)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (Allopathic) and registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948; OR
- Doctor of Pharmacy.
3. Radiographer (X-Ray Technician)
- 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry; and
- Diploma in Radiography / X-Ray Technician / Radiodiagnosis Technology of 2 years duration from a recognized institute. Science graduates with the relevant diploma will be preferred.
4. Health & Malaria Inspector Grade-II
- B.Sc. with Chemistry as Main/Optional subject; and
- One-year Diploma in Health/Sanitary Inspector; OR
- One-year National Trade Certificate (NTC) in Health Sanitary Inspector.
5. Lab Assistant Grade-II
- 12th/10+2 in Science; and
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT); OR
- Certificate Course in Medical Laboratory Technology equivalent to DMLT.
6. Dialysis Technician
- B.Sc.; and
- Diploma in Haemodialysis; OR
- Two years of satisfactory in-house training/experience in haemodialysis work.
7. ECG Technician
- 10+2 / Graduation in Science; and
- Certificate/Diploma/Degree in ECG Laboratory Technology, Cardiology, Cardiology Technician or Cardiology Techniques.
8. Audiologist & Speech Therapist
- Bachelor’s Degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP) from a recognized university; and
- Registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
9. Optometrist
- B.Sc. in Optometry; OR
- Diploma in Ophthalmic Technician of 3–4 years duration.

RRB Para-Medical Staff Salary 2026
Selected candidates will be paid according to the 7th Central Pay Commission Pay Matrix.
The notified Para-Medical posts fall under Pay Level 3 to Level 7, depending on the post. Candidates will also be eligible for other allowances as admissible under Railway rules.

RRB Para-Medical Recruitment 2026 – Selection Process
The selection process consists of:
Computer Based Test (CBT) → Document Verification (DV) → Medical Fitness
