RRB NTPC Recruitment 2026
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released short employment notifications for the recruitment of 5,165 Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) posts in various Zonal Railways and Production Units of Indian Railways.
The recruitment includes 3,477 Graduate Level posts under CEN 06/2026 and 1,688 Undergraduate Level posts under CEN 07/2026.

RRB NTPC Vacancy Details
1. Graduate Level Posts
- Total Vacancies: 3,477 Posts
- Pay Level: Level 5 & Level 6 as per 7th CPC
- Age Limit: 18–33 years
- Age Calculation Date: 01 January 2027
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent qualification.
- Typing Requirement: Computer typing proficiency in English/Hindi is required for posts such as Senior Clerk cum Typist and Junior Account Assistant cum Typist.
2. Undergraduate Level Posts
- Total Vacancies: 1,688 Posts
- Pay Level: Level 2 & Level 3 as per 7th CPC
- Age Limit: 18–30 years
- Age Calculation Date: 01 January 2027
- Educational Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board/Institution.
Age Relaxation
Relaxation in the upper age limit will be applicable to reserved categories as per Government of India rules.

Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay the examination fee according to their category.

Fee Refund
- For General/OBC candidates, ₹400 will be refunded after appearing in the 1st Stage CBT.
- For eligible candidates who paid ₹250, the applicable fee will be refunded after appearing in the 1st Stage CBT, as per the recruitment rules.

Selection Process
The selection process for RRB NTPC Recruitment generally includes the following stages:
