Assam Rifles Recruitment 2026: The Office of the Director General Assam Rifles, Shillong has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 354 Warrant Officer, Rifleman and Havildar posts under the Assam Rifles Technical and Tradesman Recruitment Rally 2026.

Age Limit
The age of candidates should generally be between 18 and 23 years as on 1 July 2026.
For specific posts such as Draughtsman, Operation Theatre Technician and Physiotherapist, the prescribed age limit is 18 to 25 years.

Educational Qualification
Educational qualifications vary according to the post/trade.
- Warrant Officer (Cipher): 10+2/Intermediate with Physics, Mathematics and English along with the prescribed NSQF Level 4+ technical course, or a relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics/ICT.
- Electrical Fitter Signal: Matriculation with prescribed ITI technical training or relevant Diploma.
- Lineman Field: Matriculation with prescribed ITI technical training or relevant Diploma.
- Armourer: 10th pass with ITI certificate in Welding trade.
- Engineer Equipment Mechanic: Matriculation with relevant Diploma/technical qualification.
- Recovery Vehicle Mechanic: 10th pass with relevant ITI qualification and valid Heavy Motor Vehicle/Transport Vehicle Driving Licence.
- Electrician Motor Vehicle: Matriculation with relevant ITI/Diploma qualification.
- Instrument Mechanic: Matriculation with relevant ITI/Diploma qualification.
- Upholster: Matriculation with relevant ITI/Diploma qualification.
- Store Keeper Technical: 10th/Matriculation pass from a recognized Board.
- Vehicle Mechanic: Matriculation with relevant ITI/Diploma qualification.
- Welder: Matriculation with relevant ITI/Diploma qualification.
- Draughtsman: 10+2 pass with 3-year Diploma in Architectural Assistantship.
- Operation Theatre Technician: 10+2 pass with Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology and the prescribed work experience.
- Physiotherapist: 10+2 pass with Diploma in Physiotherapy and the prescribed work experience.
- Mason: 10th pass from a recognized Board, along with the prescribed trade test and work-experience requirement.

Application Fee
The application fee mentioned for Group C posts is ₹100/- and is to be deposited online as prescribed in the recruitment notification.
No application fee is charged from candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Ex-Servicemen categories.
The application fee, once paid, is not refundable and will not be adjusted against any other recruitment or expense.
